Want
to add more “kick” to right and wrong contest answers? The “Buzz”
Bell Box is a stand-alone battery powered electronic module that does just
that. When a contestant gives a correct answer, pressing the snap-action
Bell button produces the “ding, ding, ding” sound of a winner.
For incorrect answers, the Buzz button gives an annoying low-pitched sound
that intones “Wrong!”
The unit measures 4.2”W x 2.6”H x 1.4”D and is powered by a
replaceable 9-volt battery. How long does a battery last? We don’t know
for sure. We tested a “Buzz” Bell with a ½ second buzz every 5
seconds, 720 buzzes per hour for 12 hours – a total of 8,640 buzzes. We
gave up, but the “Buzz” Bell did not. It was still going strong! We
predict more than 10,000 buzzes on a fresh battery. Anyone want to count
them?
“Buzz” Bell comes with a ¼” audio jack so the sounds can be input
to a sound reinforcement (PA) system.
“Buzz” Bell is excellent for use with FunBuzzer® systems or for
various other types of contests as well.
