Not enough monitor mixes to go around?
Do you find that your sound man can't squeeze everyone's requirements into those few buss mixes you have on your board? Is it impossible to please everyone?
Is your stage too "hot" with monitor sound?
Are your monitor speakers flooding the place with so much sound that your sound man can't control the house level properly? Is there so much spill-over that the room sounds like leftovers?
Is controlling your monitor mix a full-time job?
Are your rehearsals "bottlenecked" by time-consuming sound checks and monitor mix adjustments? Do your musicians and sound staff become more frustrated with each practice?
Wouldn't it be a blessing if...
Each member of your group could hear the exact mix he needed to hear? And, he was the only one to hear that particular mix?
Well, now it's possible!
The TDM-8 and TDM-16 Audio Monitor Mixing Systems offer a new level of monitoring ease and flexibility with no need for extra sound personnel. Now each group member can adjust his own monitor mix to suit himself--the one person in the whole group for whom the mix is most critical! Pictured above is a front view of a TDM-8 Output Mixer Station showing the controls and ON-light. The blue knobs control the listening level of the individual channels. The red knob is the master volume control. Each of your group members (singers or instrumentalists) can have an Output Mixer Station at his fingertips. With a TDM- system, any signal you plug into or through the Main Console becomes available to all of the Output Mixer Stations. Now each group member can mix his own monitor sound so that he can give his best performance every time. A TV-type coax cable brings the channel inputs and operating power from the Main Console into the connector on the rear of each Output Mixer Station as shown below. The built-in amplifier can drive headphones, a high-efficiency spot monitor speaker, or a BEA accessory powered speaker. The unit rests on four rubber feet or mounts on a microphone stand with a MICBRAC angle mounting bracket (pictured above).
