Installation is EASY!

STEP 1: Run a wire pair (or use an existing MICrophone cable; see accessory kits*) between phone locations.
STEP 2: Add at least two phones of your choice (standard or cordless).
VOILA!  The system is complete!  Now you have high-quality voice communications.

Operation couldn't be simpler.

FONE(COM 1
The instant the Remote phone is lifted off the hook, or the Fone Com line is activated, the amber signal light at the local end begins to flash brightly and the beeper (if turned on) sounds.  When the Local phone is picked up, the light stops flashing and the beeper stops beeping.  Just start talking like you would over a regular phone line.  When you're done, hang up.  That's all there is to it.

FONE(COM 2
The instant either phone is lifted off the hook, or the Fone Com line is activated, the amber signal light at the opposite end begins to flash brightly and the beeper (if turned on) sounds.  When that phone is picked up, the light stops flashing.  Just start talking like you would over a regular phone line.  When you're done, hang up.  That's all there is to it.

FONE(COM 4 (2-4 Stations)  
Any of up to four Fone Com 4 stations can signal any other station by pressing the appropriate call button. When a station in called, its amber signal light begins to flash brightly and its beeper (if turned on) sounds. The flashing light/beeper continues for as long as the call button is pressed at the calling station or the phone is answered at the called station. If desired, another station can be signaled and “conferenced in” with the original call. When you are through talking, hang up. That’s all there is to it.

FONE COM  XLR Cable Adapter Accessory Kits

If you already have a spare cable with XLR audio connectors running between the phone locations, it can be used as the interconnecting wire pair.  These Accessory Kits come with two adapter cables, one for each end of the XLR line. 
FONE (COM 1 XLR KIT:  The adapter cable for the Remote location has a phone-type (modular) connector on one end and an XLR male on the other end.  The adapter cable for the Local location has an XLR female on one end and pigtails for FONE (COM 1 quick connections on the other end.
FONE (COM 2 and 4 XLR KIT: The adapter cables have pigtails for FONE (COM 2 and 4 quick connections on one end and mating XLR connectors on the other end.
